The local temperature reached close to 100 degree!
I took advantage of fairly cool weather and bright light this morning to experience my new macro lens for Nikon D5500. I “ran into” a bug (I guess it is dragonfly) landing on a still closed lily bud. It looked like it has a smiley face.
Then I noticed a half blooming flower with its Curve petals wrapping tightly, its appearance reminded me of this week’s photo challenge.
Shooting with macro lens is hard. Even though I chose f4.0, and 1/800 shutter speed, many images can get blurring easily. By the end of the experience, I managed to get some decent photos.
For me today is hot but fruitful.
Beauty!

I love playing with macro! It does get easier if it helps. What I usually do is check with the manual focus to see if they are really sharp. 🙂
They are great pictures. I loved them both!

Lovely bokeh on the flower; which macro lens are you using?

I’ve heard that’s a very good lens. I personally have my heart set on nikon 105mm. 🙂
