My Xanadu

Once a while in my dream
I escape to a place
away from glaring light
and ear-piercing noise.

I row on the water
into the fresh breeze
and delicate green
to explore the lives under the blue.

Note: the photo was taken at Elk River, Northern Wisconsin.  It is located not far from my family farm.  Even though I have been there with my family many times, I still have different feelings and inspirations each time I re – visit there.  The river and its surroundings are my true Muse and Happy Place.
