After spending couple of days at Gothenburg, we took 3 – hour train to Stockholm. Last Wednesday was the first day we spent in Sweden’s capital, just in time to watch the Changing of the Royal Guard in front of the King of Sweden’s residence. The Changing of the Royal Guard started at 12:15 pm, to my surprise those young guards seemed very happy to be photographed by the visitors.
The ceremony lasted for about 40 minutes, during which an officer was shouting out the commends to the guards. The guards were lining up and taking actions in a very neat pace. Even though I couldn’t understand any words, I could still feel the royalty and enthusiasm from those guards.
SO much more informal than the changing of the guards in London … have witnessed this so you have brought back many memories, thank you
