The Han Cheng Lake (漢城湖), located at the north part of Xi’an, is the place to display the scenes of Han Dynasty.
Han is the second united dynasty after Qing (秦). It reinforced the system of central controlling power, but it also eased the tax burden on civilians to stabilize the society. It cultivated the Confucianism, and expanded its terrain to establish the first great territory of China.
Near the front door of the Han Cheng Lake is a huge sculptured figure of the first emperor at Han Dynasty, Han Gao Zu – Liu Bang (漢高祖－ 劉邦).
Along the lake there is couple of beacons, waterwheels, streetlights, which are all duplicated based on the ancient style, farmer’s house and hieroglyphs, etc.
