Iceland Trip #2 Lovely Animals

It surprised me that Icelandic animals have been remaining peace with each other, that is said there are no predators and preys! Those wolfs, bears, polar bears or other carnivores can not survive at Iceland. The only beings who can kill others are human beings who use beaf, lamb, fishes and horses as their supplies of proteins.

A sheep mother and her two children looked at my camera together for a family portrait. There are a lot of sheep or horses staying outside during summer since there is plenty fresh hey for them.

Those milk cows also loved to be photographed, they stood really still in front of my camera.

One of the Icelandic symbols, puffin birds, only live on the rocks during spring and summertimes. They will be floating over ocean throughout entire winter. Their colorful beaks can hold up to 26 fishes at the same time.

The bird with long sharp beak is called black-tailed godwit, they are really noisy. It is the only bird I knew who lays eggs just on the ground, I also saw the chicks running around in grass, without fear that something might take them as meal.

The last photo of a brown horse on a farmland walked towards me after seeing me waving, and gave me a friendly laugh.

It was a great experience to closely interact with those animals.
