Be Prepared, Be Safe!

During last couple weeks a doe with her two fawns have been visiting my yard on the daily basis. The two fawns are tiny and often follow their mom closely. They were walking around nibbling on grass or mom stopped occasionally to nurse her babies.

I wasn’t sure whether those two babies could run on their skinny legs, so one day I opened the door, to my surprise the littles ones jumped up and ran away amazingly fast. I stopped worrying about their safety after I witnessed their speed.

The nature offers them with abundant resources as well as great dangers. Once from a picture capture by trail camera at farm I saw a wolf carrying a fawn, which I believed soon to be the wolf’s dinner.

I wish those innocent babies get prepared with the help from their mom and stay safe in their journey!

Thanks for visiting my post!
