Seven Magic Mountains under Sunset

They formed a set of true wonders!

They are called “Seven Magic Mountains” because they are seven columns make of colorful rocks, with the height over 35 feet, standing in deserts surrounded by Red Rock Canyon.

The exhibition of Seven Magic Mountains is located 16 miles south from Las Vegas.  It was originally opened on May 11, 2016, and was scheduled to be on view for two years.  Due to the incredible success since opening, the artist Ugo Rondinone expressed a strong desire to keep the artworks at its current site for a longer period of time.

The Producers continue to work on an extension plan that would enable Seven Magic Mountains to remain on view for several years into the future.  At the end of 2018, the Bureau of Land Management (BLM) issued a three-year permit extension for the artwork, allowing the installation to remain on view through the end of 2021.

If you have opportunities I suggest you visit the exhibition.  You won’t regret.

Thanks for visiting my post.
