Just before I departed for Seoul, Korea, I visited the owner of one of the local Korean restaurants. I asked him what kinds of Korean traditional foods I should try, without hesitation he told me “street foods”.
During our stay at Seoul we were moving around on feet most time. Going through Myeongdong, Dongdaemun, Gamcheon Culture Village and other areas, we passed countless food stands days and nights. I tried as much as I could, but still only tasted a few of them.
For daily lunch and dinner we sat in various Korean style restaurants, sometimes just randomly picked up dishes from menu. Whatever we ate is still making my mouth watering every time I think of them.
The only thing I remember of those street or table foods are their tastes, not so much of their names.
Thanks for visiting my post!
