Besides business staffs at Austin, I did have some chances to go around the city especially at the times of sunset and nights. There is a famous spot at Austin – the bats’ family underneath Congress Avenue Bridge. Soon after sunset around 1.5 million Mexican free-tailed bats flying out from their colony under the bridge. The swarms of the bats almost covered entire sky to form an unusual scenes.
Unfortunately the picture shooting of those bats with high speed and under low light was not a easy task for an amateur photographer like me. But I took a few photos around sunset and nighttime at downtown Austin, which turned out ok. One of them even includes the state capital of Texas. Can you find it?
