A Waterfall Surrounded by Snow

The past week could be featured by snowy week, since we have seen two heavey snow storms, one on Thursday night with 8 inches and another on Saturday afternoon with 12 inches.  By Sunday morning the second snowstorm finally stopped and we also finished plowing / cleaning deep snow piles around our house.  Sunday afternoon was cloudy but warm (temperature was lingering around 32 F).  My husband and I decided to take a walk around Normandale Lake.  Surprisingly the walk path around lake was plowed, which gave us fairly easy time going around the lake and snapping some photos.

Stopping by our favorite waterfall, we saw that tiny fall still running among snow piles.  My husband took couple of pictures while I was looking at the waterfall.

We have truly enjoyed the tranquil winter time together!
