They are Leaving us

We all once a while face something which can only be with us temporally.

Winter has arrived at Minnesota, so has snow.  Walking around Normandale Lake today I saw large groups of geese and other birds are gathering together on the thin ice.  Based on my previous observations, I know they are getting ready to say good-bye to the place they spent all spring, summer and fall.  This mean that the parents will lead young kids who were born in last spring to experience the first long distance adventure.

I also saw some red leaves hanging and shaking in snow shower.  After most of other plants already withered they are among the last to stand in the cold.

The precious moments are always short, we should treasure everything we have and love everybody in the family.
