Autumn Sunset on a Farmland

During the past weekend, we drove to our family farmland located at northern Wisconsin.  On Friday night I photographed the most beautiful sunset I have ever seen.

At the edge of the land, the Sun was gradually sinking below the horizon, and leaving behind the bright red rays of light.  The rays of light were then refracted by cloudy sky to form a magnificent view of “sky on fire”.

In the middle of October, the temperature there was already close to freezing point.  But the color of the sky looked so hot as if to warm up the entire world.

Did the God try to blow the last piece of warm breeze onto us through such an (Extra)ordinary way?
