Street of “Han Dynasty” – Photo 101 day 2

My hometown – Xi’an was the capital city of 11 dynasties at ancient China.  Besides its well – known Terra Cotta soldiers made at Qing dynasty (over 2,000 years ago), there are also numerous other historical sites.  While I was there for the Lunar New Year, I visited one of the sites – Han Cheng Hu, which was constructed based on the styles of Han dynasty, the second united regime of ancient China.

On one of the streets I was attracted by its street lights.  Before electricity was discovered, people lightened oil at night, but I don’t believe the lights there depend on any oil to function.  So as said, they might be the combination of old tradition and modern technology.
