This is in response to photography 101, day 15 assignment – Landscape.
I alway prefer to take pictures of Landscape under overcast weather, especially the moment right before storm. I personally believe that overcast condition can provide better contrast and let other features inside a photo shine out.
This landscape of old Quebec city was taken under overcasting, the color of sky matches with the color of the river around the city. Those buildings, plants, streets, mountains at far side and even the details on the shores can be easily distinguished from each other.
The picture was cropped to mostly include the city landscape, with smaller portion of the river and shoreline in the middle of horizon.
