This is in response to photography 101, day 9 assignment – Warmth.

It was summer time, I was working in my yard and noticed a yellow flower blooming among its surrounding purples and greens. Its color seemed to emit warmth to those coldness around.
I selected an angle to let sunlight shining onto it from its left, to leave its right with some shadows. In addition, the main focus was on the yellow flower itself, to leave the purples and greens blurring. This design made it and its warmth color standout from the crowd.
You have a great eye for colour – absolutely lovely.

I really like the contrast between the yellows and oranges in the flower and the out-of-focus, yet vibrant, lavender.

Spectacular! So yellow it almost hurts. Plus the purple in the back — love!
